Welcome to the 8th Bead Soup Blog Party, created and hosted by the absolutely amazing Lori Anderson.
There are over 500 participants so I will keep the natter to a minimum and get straight to the goodies.
Here is the very special bead soup that I received from Hajer of My Beaded World, look at the beautiful stitching :
This soup was such a pleasure to work with. The handcrafted components are so beautiful and so well made. This is what I made :
The next one is not quite finished. My daughter saw the cord and tassles and immediatley declared that they belonged to her. This is going to be a hair clip when I can find the right sized clip to fix it to.
And here's desert! This is the luscious soup sent to me by Bridget of www.shears58.net :
So much fun in one package! I only had a few days to play, but this is what I have created so far :
I had a wee accident with the next one - I wanted to add dangles to the pendant so I carefully drilled a hole, sneezed and left a white scratch on the front. Refusing to be deterred I turned the scratch into a tree. My better half said "wow!", so all's well that end's well!
Thank you both so very, very much Hajer and Bridget. Both wonderful, generous soups. I hope you like what I have created with them. And I still have more creations in progress!
And thank you so much to Lori for perservering with the BSBP and generally being an all round goddess.
Please take the time to visit the other participants, starting with my wonderful partners Hajer and Bridget. A full list of bead-soupers can be found on the link below:
